The East Midlands Regional Offender Manager
Linda Jones is the ROM for the East Midlands, leading the East Midlands team to deliver NOMS aims locally.

The East Midlands ROM's role
Linda Jones' responsibilities include:
- commissioning services from prisons and probation areas in both the public and private sector
- holding prisons and probation areas accountable to ensure they deliver on performance
- developing 'contestability' - allowing service providers to compete for work to drive performance
This approach ensures NOMS obtains the very best value for money in managing offenders, both in custody and in the community.

Simon is responsible for developing and maintaining NOMs relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the region, overseeing the Reducing Re-offending Delivery Plan and Alliances and deputising for the ROM.
